Cali (Valle del Cauca), October 17, 2024 – The Government of Colombia, committed to technological development and inclusion, has launched a series of digital applications that will be at the service of COP16 attendees and those who wish to follow the most important event on biodiversity from anywhere in the world. These tools have been designed to facilitate the experience of participants with relevant information in real time.
Through these applications, users will be able to consult the agendas of the Blue Zone and Green Zone, schedules, and the five bus routes implemented exclusively for attendees at the Pacific Valley Events Center. In addition, they will have a tourist guide of the region, as well as security telephone lines.
The National Government designed different applications to facilitate the participation of nationals and foreigners during the COP16. Through these technological tools they will be able to access all the information of the Blue and Green Zones, transportation routes and tourist guides in real time.
Official COP16 Apps
These applications are available for download on IOS and Android:
- COP16 Peace with Nature: developed by the Colombian Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications with the support of the Ministry of Environment, it offers all the information on mobility, security and tourism for the event. It also contains the agendas of the Blue Zone and the Green Zone. It is available in Spanish, English and French.
- COP16 2024: This tool allows you to connect live to all the sessions and plenaries of the Blue Zone. Just select the 'Program' tab and search for the event you want to follow each day. All transmissions are recorded on the United Nations website webtv.un.org, just enter the term 'COP16' in the search engine to access them, they will be available in six languages.
Finally, on the official website of the event, www.cop16colombia.com, under the Blue Zone tab, you can easily plan your trip to COP16. There you will find all available flights and connections to the Alfonso Bonilla Aragon International Airport in Cali, Colombia. The interactive viewer of the Colombian Civil Aeronautics shows in real time the international air routes, direct and with stopovers, from anywhere in the world.
